Cove's Corner
I write poetry!
(Very Occasionally)
Big Bad Wolf
Big bad wolf come out to play
The pigs are growing fat
The chickens consume
The cows eat their fill
Not a sorry meal in sight
Big bad wolf come out to play
At night so the village won't see
The hunter's drunk
The preacher's asleep
My gate's been left unlocked
Big bad wolf come out to play
Those wounds won't heal themselves
The book and the gun
Lashed out with ease
Yet my empty hands are open
Big bad wolf come out to play
I've lit the flame for you
Sleep now before the hearth
Let the fire leave your eyes
Rest with me once more
As the new moon hides away
